Summary:
Mike is AMAZING!
Our family participated in the Learn to Forge experience. We are a larger group, ranging in ages from 11 to 70+. Mike was prepared for our group and remained flexible and accommodating throughout the entire experience.
We appreciated that Mike dedicated a full morning to our family so that we were able to complete every step of the process (if we wanted to) at our own pace. Not only was this a GREAT experience, but it was very educational as well. Mike explained each step-process very well, in a way that made sense to all abilities. He often demonstrated his verbal guidance, which helped varying learning styles.
Not only was Mike very thorough, he was VERY patient and made every effort to make us feel comfortable (drinks, chairs, restroom), but also provided chairs and allowed us to move about to capture photos and videos to help us better remember the experience.
Our family is not from the area, but when we visit again, we’re highly interested and motivated to schedule another session with Mike.

I received the Create a Knife experience for Christmas and went into the experience with no knife making knowledge. Mike taught me everything I needed to succeed. I got off track one time and He caught my mistake and put me back on the right path in a way that made me feel more confident, and not like I messed up. Mike is an amazing host and I can't wait to go back to take the 2 day Damascus class! If I could rate this 11/10, I honestly would. I love showing off my knife.
